The old church bell chimes,
for the eleventh time,
The church yard is full of crosses
A crowd gathered to remember the losses
Of those fallen brave,
who lie in another grave.

Where are they,
Flanders field they lay.
Struck by bullet and metal
Now replaced by grass and petal
That sea of Red
Now covers the dead.

At the memorials for War they meet
The ghostly sounds of marching feet
Is heard drifting on the wind
While Soldiers with medals pinned
Remembering their War buddies
With reefs of red Poppies
