Day 100 + 24hrs : Done

Day 93 + 24hrs – The gift of Spirit 

So Sunday school.

Day 91 +24hrs – Lest we forget

The rose from the trenches in single file.

The Soldiers went on up the hilly ground
Friends and brothers fell, others firing their guns
Thick smoke, cries of pain , the stench of death all around.

The Anglo French plan to win,
Got dented in the battle of Verdun
Slashing the French lines there in
Whilst depleting the Hun.

It all started so well
On the first of July
In the air the Flags Fly
Whilst Somme descended into HELL!
