Amid the noise and the haste and remember what peace there may be in SILENCE

As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself to others you may become vain and bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your career however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue thre is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself, especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of years gracefully surrendering the things of youth

Nurture the strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whetheror not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you concieve him to be; and whatever your labours and aspirations, in the noisy confusions of life , keep peace with your soul. With all its shams, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still A beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

Larry sleeps with the fishes

Well ok being a fish meant he would always sleep with fishes, but in the Mafia sense he is is now swiming in the Great Pond upon high with Gorden (God Rest his shoal). But the other two seem fine.

Well this weekend was spent removing the carpet from my old room now the painting has been finished. So now the main bits of furniture have been moved in, all that remains is to fit some nets curtains …not the lacy cack but the kanji style ones that Ma Drinky sent through. Then some curtains and then some carpet which i need to order. So thats a bit weird cos i have no idea on the plie stuff type thing.

So what else is new, well have booked my holiday week of, which will be a week in the lakes so that will be cool.

Life goes on as ever…..

Fish where art thou!!

FIND THE FISH

Man: I wonder where that fish has gone.

Woman: You did love it so.
You looked after it like a son.

Man: [strangely] And it went wherever I did go.

Woman: Is it in the cupboard?

Audience: Yes! No!

Woman: Wouldn’t you like to know.
It was a lovely little fish.

Man: [strangely] And it went wherever I did go.

Man in audience: It’s behind the sofa!

[An elephant joins the man and woman.]

Woman: Where can the fish be?

Man in audience: Have you thought of the drawers in the bureau?

Woman: It is a most elusive fish.

Man: [strangely] And it went wherever I did go!

Ok a strange start to a post…. but yet true in so many ways… As this weekend saw the new fish tank get life 🙂 But after a short 5 mins of no movement they where left in peace to settle in…sense then they have not been seen.
Well ok a slight lie they appeared for 30secs when iwas watching Godzilla but when i went too look them over they vanished like an old oak table.

But then it is early doors so they’ll get braver over the next few days

Went to the Garden centre near oswestr, to find a plastic box for Red. but sadly no luck. But did my good turn for the day helpping someone carry there new bench to the car. On route to H’s Car I must have it a button and the Phone rang Penddraig. So after a quick chat trying to blag a brew. We set off home when a text came through saying pop by.

So we did it was a very nice cuppa. His ma made. His little niece was certainly on the ball and knew who i was.. Which surprised me, but hey ho as both children there are trainee Warrior Monks, I requested a demostration of such a noble art. Anthony dispite not want to show of his new skills releneted and gave a briliant preformance. Not wanting to be out done Georgina showed skills, i have tosay they both showed intent within the moves of the Kata/Form (whatever your flava is)

When I suggest Penddraig, it fell on deaf ears.

After that we left his Gothship to enjoy the afternoon. Once home I discovered that i had a back garden underneath the bramble bushes and nettles.

Have begun document one, and have some great ideas for the second document, but for now I will finish my UI.
