Street Mate no Map

So currently looking through the file formats for www.streetmap.co.uk, i suddenly realised i am quite jealous of Ian as he has a great job. Well if you are in to map making or Cartography then is it quite cool. Found some ace links to websites for example:

Well what else is new, I have now got a pet fish called Gordon, although he is on his todd at the mo he is going to get a friend, and if Madam has her way it will be a gobstoper looking goldfish which will have to be called Augustas (erm spelling may be in correct.)

So thats cool. Castle Maguire is looking scaryingly tidy at present, but i predict it may change. by end of tuesday. Which reminds me no pub after training this week as i think i should have a dry patch.

Weekend was filled with drinking eating and Music , saw Faithless live again this year , they have to be the best music group at at the moment, i can’t think of another group that has been as consistant but then must people would say i am critical about music. But hey who cares i only listen to stuff i like, well unless its the office. THen i have less control 🙁

Also saw the GLC, now here is a band that is just a piss take band, yet seem to be able to pull off some rather good and funny tracks. They didn’t play my favourite but they did play robot.

Oh yes , got a strange txt at weekend from a nice yet mad lass but hey who can complain. Although i put it down to her clearing up her phonebook on the mobile more than out was still nice to hear from her. But then that is thing with txt they can make you happy or sad or indifferent depending on the outcome .. Oh which reminds me i must dig out Lee’s Address .

Monday it was drive back from Fing cold Oldham with every prat on the road driving a 2mph…..

Tueday
well after leaving work with a hmmmph sort of feeling, I then had to go Fencing, but it was not as good as it had be… Mainly due to last weeks ego clash (NB. It is my sideline view) But then Mr Murphy had the curtise to text and email me of his unablitiy to attend.

Anyway….

Great News

I my wonderful readers , am no longer evil as the the God /Gods/ Comet sender of the universe/Architect has given me a reprieve. So i may go through the shumon gate to heaven.

Reason is the proof of evil link is now broken. For a mystery virus has hit this site and freakishly deleted all of someones posts!!!!!!! This is great and i am pleased to the highest from.

So the sect of CHIMONTENDO can start once more with renewed vigor.

Astertix and the Roman Agent

Well as ever and like most days you get the call of nature. So usually when I am seated on the throne I like to have something to read as it is a good time to catch up on news, or books that you have to read. But on this trip is spotted an old Asterix book so i thoughted i ‘d re-read it. For those of you who are not aware of these they are surprisingly good comic books to read. The general thread of this story is :

Gaul was divided into three parts. No, four parts – for one small village of indomitable Gauls still held out against the Roman invaders. BOOK 15 Julius Caesar tries psychological warfare to defeat the little Gaulish village and sends expert troublemaker Tortuous Convolvulus to set friend against friend and almost succeeds: see jealousy spread as the Gauls become suspicious of each other! Can Asterix and Obelix, with the expert aid of the druid Getafix, outwit the weedy but wily Convolvulus and get the village back to normal?

Now Tortuous for most of it doesn’t actually say much it is just choice words he uses. Now this is interesting cos alot of people think i am evil and stirrer of the smelly stuff. Which i believe is unfair ok i take the Pee but not in a nasty way. So i thought being called the evil one of the office or of the relationship was not fair . Well thats what i have thought, but now i have to concur, i am evil. “How” you cry, i come up with this idea now, well sit yee down and i will explain.
It is Monday night and i have returned home from the Dojo , and it dawns on me as i cannot make Fencing this week, so i will have to email and let people know it is not on. “HA ” you say , “Pete, but this is not evil it is a good and nice thing to do and you aggreed to give out 12-24 hrs notice if it wasnot on”. Yes and you are correct, but a short space of time later whilst watching telly the “New Mail” Flag has began to flash and it is one of my students …..

a quick aside i have left my laptop at home today so can not quote the emails so will give the gist do not tak it as the excat wording …. if you do then you are making yourself look daft fornot reading this aside.

Asking can you let either Mr W or Mr M have the key so we can have some more practise

i replied,
Saying Mr W may not be there and Mr M was last seen fishing.

To which he replied , thanks see you next week.

SEE AGAIN nice quiet and calm , so the next day in the office i mention to Mr W that there had been an enquiry if it would be his wish to open up and just train for a bit. So at 4pm he said he would like the Key to open up. Now the office was busy that day so it is understand able that it was only at 4 when i was leaving that Mr W wanted the key, of which he got.

And off i went on my merry way.

So nothing evil about that ????? well read this the following and you may well change your view

Film Review

Well went to the Odeon last night, for a change and as there was much to go for and finding Monty Python mildly amusing, I end up watching The Brothers Grimm. So from the title its not surprising that it may have the odd Fairy Tale in it and have the usual Zaney and bizarre artistic feel that Mr Gilliam is reknown for.

And to be honest it delievered it very well and it is understandable that it was certificed as a 12A as most kids have seen worse on the news and parents not exercising there parental control on the ir own video/dvd library at home. Now before you go ha ha you where scared, this was not the case but as always i am good watcher of films as i always jump at the not really scary part, but we are making you jump cos we are gits part . You know the person on a bus and following asleep and someone bangs on the window. Or that bit in Aliens where the face hugger smacks the glass, you know its coming but feck me you jump every time. But hey thats life.
Right i had point some where but i taken a wrong turning again. Ah thats it 12A , well in the cinema, i was unlucky enough to be sat next a father and daughter, the daughter must have been about 5-6 and she was very scared indeed, and had to be taken out twice.

Ok so i ‘ve not reviewed the flim , y , cos i get told off for giving to much away . So i ‘ll say nothing else excpet that it was good They win. And you will spot every fairy tale you ever new. etc.

One more point the film was mention on tuesday one person said that is was rubbish whether they had seen it i’m not sure, but the other one said your only saying that cos i told you wife, and i said it wasn’t any good. So quite an outstanding review from the pair, but hey I enjoyed and thats my thoughts, it was a bout a 7/10 no where near as good a Batman but a lot better than Madagascar.
