Keeping up on Correspondance

Over the last few months I have sent emails to different people on numerous subjects, to some people I would not expect to hear a reply from. In the end 2 people I would hold as great and good friends never responded, it is highly odd.

Ok one has shut a company to concentrate on their vocation, but as they provided my email I am concerned if it is going to be cancelled or charged or what have you.

The other was to see if there was any programming work that they need doing so as to keep my skill set up to date.  The email I felt was polite and even a “No” would have been an acceptable response. Alas I received not even a “cheeky git” response, I know the email was received as I had an old friends check the mail logs.

Yet when it comes to wanting cash from me they are quick to respond.

In Working life I’ve been told….

I have been friends with the 3 ninja bloggers now for quite some time and have noticed the GN is becoming more despondent with his job, I have suggested some ideas to help him but unfortunately life throws you some interesting curveballs that means you’re working lord and masters are surprisingly dim-witted and are less likely to listen to the useful staff but more pander to the needs of the morons of the office.  Examples are you have developer that has very little skill in developing and is unable to interact with clients unless he likes them. He hates me with a passion for no real reason except jealousy, if asked now what the reason is he would have probably changed his mind. Last time I visited the offices I was onsite for about 2 hours I didn’t even go in and talk to him but he left the building for the entire length I was there and kept walking around in the area till I left.

The Support desk is not helpful as can be seen by the tickets in the support desk and this is blamed as ever on training needs of the staff not the inefficient management. The place is rife with bullying of staff at the highest level and staff have left because of this.
