It had been a wet and very windy day, one of those days that the sun is not able to burn through the clouds but rather glimpse through the small holes in the clouds. He crouched low against the rocky out crop with the collar of his jacket turned up high to get some protection from the elements. He checked his watched it was 7:53pm, “it should have happened by now” he thought.
Then there was a flash of iridescent blue across the sky followed be loud crack. He saw the hole in the sky open in front of him and he ran from where he had been sheltering towards the tear in the sky. As he reached it paused and looked behind him.
In the distance he saw figures dressed in black fanning out over the mountainside behind him, the light and sound had alert them to his position.
He turned back and walked into the hole, “this time he would make the right choices” he thought. Once he was completely through the tear closed again.
