I was minding my on business
For I was resting as is sat,
Not quiet on a mat
We will have none of that silliness

Then in walked a cat
On its head was cap
It stopped.
With a paw it gave it a tap
It passed by the welcome mat.

Instead it trotted on
It reached the kitchen door
It stopped
Then spun round on the  floor
Then out the flap and it was gone

So after starting the day a 5:50 am I now have time to think about being creative.

It is syllables not cymbals
It is provinceitional not provisional
It is fervently not feverishly
For god sake speak louder

It is haitch not Aaitch
It is artificer not artphicer
It is an alarm not a report
It is not how our lodge does it.

Gavel then stand,
It is not  just upright as there is a comma,
But most of all it is Israel
Not godamn Italy

I left the house this morning and had forgot my key
Got half way down the road,
I turned and slipped on a toad,
Finding myself on my back and looking at the sky

It could be worse I said
For it is better than being shiv’d

Getting on my journey to work
I stopped to let a car pass by
But the car broke down
This nearly made me cry
Due to this silly dork

It could be worse I said
For it is better than being shiv’d

Getting passed this troublesome danger,
I managed to arrive at the office
When I found that I could not rhyme
So I went postal in the office
Now I sit in the car of a police ranger

Maqlû It could be worse I said
For it is better than being shiv’d

As the  dawn Sun came shown through the ninth east gate,
The disc in Marduk’s temple glowed intensely
The light was different
The glow was deep green!

Cohen woke with a  start,
His skin felt like it was crawling,
Rising from the reed bed he stumbled over the stool,
As he picked himself up  he realised something was  wrong.

One step,
Three steps,
Cohen leapt a s he ascended the stairs ,
The  air was  thick, heavy and Green.

He reached the sanctum of the the temple,
Through the ninth east gate
The jade light shone
Bathing the room completely!

Well not completely ,
A shaft of white light  pierced the room,
It was  shining on the glyph of
DIN.GIR.

‘Elhoim come’he bellowed
Moving up the West wall,
He looked out the gate,
The source of the jade light was clearly seen.

On the San peek of the nearby mountains
A peek was missing,
There was a crater
A jade obliesk was in the crater.

There it stood
Throbbing  as it  the jade light emanated from its core
Even from where he stood  the heat was seering,
“Entu, how can I assist”.

Get the tablets of Enûma Eliš and Maqlû
Meet me at the sanctum santory.
Cohen returned to the south wall
Searching for the mark of Enki.

The light made the zigzaged lines eerie
Pushing the mark a low rumble was heard,
Slowly the centre slab in the floor under the disc slid away.
A dark abyss was laid bare.

Elhoim joined him at the precipice,
His mentor had taught him well he thought
The secrets of Marduk most be true,
Looking down in to the dark opening the way was clear.

They made steady progess down the long shaft,
It was engineered to allow them to go one after the other
The air felt stale as the descended,
“Stop”, Cohen called out.

The handholds were damaged,
There was scaring on the stone
Deep gauges, easily felt
They continued their descent!
